Sugo Band Mates

Matt Meixner, the Master of the Keys.  Overlord of the Hammond, and the Rhodes, the Groove Master of the band, our creative influence.  He's German and Lithuanian, which is a contradiction really, seeing as how Germany invaded Lithuania...  Watching this guy SHRED is appealing to every sense!

Secret Steeeve is recently retired from his clandestine activities and has rejoined his favorite skill, playing the bejeezus out of the BASS!  He's spent years as a studio session musician, plays with legendary guitarist Greg Koch as well as SUGO. Why so secret?  It's none a yo' damn bidness!  Move along people, there's nothing else to see.

John Calarco has a resume that is so long, another web page could be dedicated to his incredible career. What this man can do with only the smallest kit is simply astounding!  One of the most respected drummers in the entire state, Johnny holds the pocket, and does so with precision, flava, and groove. John is also the Chief Paisan in the band.  All complaints, wrongdoings, and/or hints of disrespect go past his desk.

Mike started the band in 2020 with the hopes that the other guys would return his phone call.  It was all a wish to start a funk band that followed in the footsteps of New Orleans in the 1970's.  Mike loves the FUNK but is also steeped in blues and heavy rock & roll.  His soloing reflects this, his funky rhythm comes from the glorious days of Disco.
